The Lakeside Escape brings together the cultural character of Kathmandu and the natural beauty of Pokhara in one thoughtfully paced five-day journey. Begin in the capital, exploring its historic squares, sacred temples and vibrant streets before heading towards the tranquil shores of Phewa Lake.

In Pokhara, let the pace soften. Rise early for a sunrise from Sarangkot, as the first light falls across the Annapurna range and the Himalayas emerge above the horizon. Spend your days boating on Phewa Lake, wandering along the lakeside and enjoying the cafés, local flavours and mountain views that give Pokhara its distinctive charm.

For those seeking a little more adventure, optional experiences such as ziplining and bungee jumping offer a different perspective on the landscape. Or take the opportunity to unwind with a spa treatment, a yoga session or simply a quiet afternoon beside the water.

Cultural experiences: Please follow your guide’s advice when visiting religious sites and local communities. Modest clothing and respectful behavior are recommended at temples and other sacred places.

Transport between destinations: Travel times between Kathmandu and Pokhara vary depending on the chosen transport method and weather conditions. Final arrangements will be confirmed before departure.
